Hormonal Issues Are Rising. We Need To Talk About Toxins.

Women are being told hormonal issues are normal because they are common.

Common does NOT mean normal.

Women are dealing with; Painful periods, Endometriosis,  PMS,  Fatigue, Brain fog, Missing periods, Infertility and Weight gain that “doesn’t make sense.”

These are NOT normal at all.

Women’s bodies are overloaded by the sheer amount of toxins we are exposed to every single day.

Because this conversation goes far beyond food.

Most women have cleaned up their diets. They buy organic where they can. They take supplements. They prioritise protein and they train consistently.

Yet many still feel exhausted, inflamed, hormonally dysregulated, and disconnected from their bodies.

There is a reason for that.

Your hormones do not exist in isolation. They respond to your environment constantly. And one of the biggest environmental exposures women overlook is clothing.

Especially activewear and underwear.

Most conventional activewear is made from synthetic fabrics like polyester and nylon. These materials are plastic based and often treated with chemical coatings, dyes, and finishes that come into direct contact with the skin for hours at a time.

Then we sweat in them.

And conventional underwear is made from the same plastics, and we where it all day EVERYDAY.

Your skin is your largest organ. During exercise, pores open, circulation increases, and absorption is heightened. Yet nobody is questioning what women are wearing during these vulnerable moments.

At Cloco, we believe women deserve better than being forced to choose between health and style.

The problem is not that women are “failing” at health. The problem is that modern life is saturated with toxic exposures that nobody talks about enough.

You cannot support hormones while ignoring what your body is absorbing daily.

Hormone disrupting chemicals have been linked in research to issues involving fertility, metabolic health, endocrine disruption, inflammation and cancer. That does not mean one pair of leggings causes disease. But cumulative exposure matters.

That is the conversation people are finally waking up to.

For years, “healthy living” focused almost entirely on food and exercise. But health is also:

  • what touches your skin
  • what you breathe
  • what your home contains
  • what your body absorbs daily

This is why non toxic activewear and underwear matters.

This is why hormone safe clothing matters.

And this is why plastic free clothing is becoming one of the most important conversations in women’s wellness.

At Cloco, we are not here to shame women for what they used to wear.

Most people simply did not know (me included).

We are here to challenge an industry that normalised synthetic clothing without asking how it affects women long term.

Women deserve transparency and flattering clothing made with their health in mind.

Women deserve non toxic underwear and activewear that supports both confidence and wellbeing.

That should be the standard.

Not the luxury.

The future of fashion is not just sustainable.

It needs to be safe too.

And we believe women are going to start demanding exactly that.
